The Padi Dive Master course moves you into the adventure that is professional recreational diving. You will work closely with your Padi Instructor, honing your dive skills and knowledge to a professional level. The Padi Divemaster course will teach you leadership skills, and qualify you to assist Padi Instructors and supervise diving activities. The course lasts approximately 2 weeks. The candidate will participate with the day to day operation of the Dive Centre. You will accompany and help Instructors with Padi courses, guide dive groups and aid with the organization, logistics and customer service. All of the aforementioned components will make up this comprehensive professional course. 12 Knowledge Development: topics ranging from dive theory to assisting student divers in training. Prerequisites: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent from other training body), PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent from other training body), 20 logged dives, 18 years of age. At least 60 logged dives for certification as a Padi Divemaster. |
